神奈川県の葉山で冬の海のアイドル、ダンゴウオを撮影してまいりました。
ダンゴウオは冷たい水を好み、冬になると岩礁地帯の海藻の上とかにちょこんと乗っています。
幼魚は米粒ほどの大きさで、成魚でも2cmほどととても小さな魚です。
この写真の子で1cmくらいかなと思います。
以前は伊豆の川奈あたりでも冬になると見かけましたが、近年は冬でも水温が以前ほど下がらなくなり、
伊豆ではほとんど見られなくなってしまいました。
葉山や城ヶ島あたりだとまだまだ見ることができます。
こんなところでも温暖化を感じてしまいますね。
I have been shooting the winter sea idol, Cyclopteridae, in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Cyclopteridae prefer cold water and ride on reef seaweed in winter.
Young fish are about the size of a grain of rice, and even adult fish are very small, about 2 cm.
I think the child in this photo is about 1 cm.
I used to see it in winter around Kawana in Izu, but in recent years the water temperature has not dropped as much as before even in winter.
It has almost disappeared in Izu.
You can still see it around Hayama and Jogashima.
You will feel warming even in such a place.
