I grew up in Hidaka , Saitama Prefecture , Japan.
The surroundings were mountains and the sea was far away , so I have longed for the sea since I was little. Impressed by the first scuba diving I did in Saipan on a trip,I started taking underwater photographs. After that,I learned photography from underwater photographer Keigo Kawamura.
In 2021,I became the first Japanese winner in the underwater photographer of the year portrait category, and won runner up(second place) in the up & coming category.
Based in the Japan, I takes underwater photographs all over the world that I admired when I was child.

埼玉県日高市出身。 周りは山ばかりで海とは全く縁がなかったせいで海への異常な憧れを抱いて育つ。
社員旅行で訪れたサイパンで経験した初めての体験ダイビングでえらく感動し、 帰国後すぐにCカード(ダイビングライセンス)を取得し、水中撮影を始める。 水中写真家川村圭吾氏に師事し水中写真を学び、
2021年にUnderwater Photographer Of The YearのPortrait部門において日本人初のウィナーとなる。 同時にUp & Coming部門においても2位を獲得。
現在は埼玉県吉川市においてUMI HAIR DESIGNという美容室を経営しながら、 伊豆や館山の海を中心に世界中の海をめぐり、幼い頃死ぬほど憧れた海を撮り続けている。
